In the study group's first year at Greendale, a paintball competition is held at the end of the year. Ben Chang enters the contest sporting this deadly weapon, a modified BT-TM-15 semi-automatic paintball gun. It is painted orange and decorated with tiger stripes in honor of its owner's self proclaimed nickname, "El Tigre Chino" (The Chinese Tiger). It provides superior firepower over the paintball guns used by the other contestants. The gun's first appearance is in "Modern Warfare". It is later seen again in the Season Two finale "A Fistful of Paintballs" this time used by Annie. It shows up one more time in the following episode "For A Few Paintballs More" used by Jeff.
History
Edit
In Modern Warfare, the paintball competition over the prize spirals out of control. Wanting to put an end to the contest, Dean Pelton sends in a ringer, Ben Chang. Eliminating a number of contestants, he then hunts down the last two, Jeff Winger and Britta Perry. Despite having them pinned down in the study room with the overwhelming firepower of the gun, he opts to discard it and use twin golden paintball pistols to finish them off. Britta challenges him to a dual pistol battle, and they both end up shooting and eliminating each other from the competition. Jeff then picks up the discarded weapon and makes his way to Dean Pelton's office. Before demanding and receiving the prize, he unloads the last of the weapon's ammunition into the office, spraying it with paint.

Added by UltimateatomicbusterIn "A Fistful of Paintballs", part one of the Season Two two part finale, the gun appears again. After the last paintball competition, it was confiscated and locked up with a number of other paintball paraphernalia in Dean Pelton's office. The study group locates the hidden cache, and Annie seizes the weapon to get retribution on Pierce who she had just learned betrayed Jeff. She returns to his headquarters in the cafeteria and uses Chang's gun to intimidate Pierce. She hands the weapon off to Abed, so she can deal with Pierce and challenges him to a one-on-one duel. Afterwards, it is used by Jeff again in the second part of the finale "For A Few Paintballs More" when he leads his team of Greendale students in an assault on City College's paintball machine gun.
