Quote
I’m not an actor, I don’t enjoy waiting around for hours on set, I hate when people touch my eyes and neck (make-up department!), I can’t learn lines quickly (yes, even the amount of lines I get), and I don’t need other actors (Joel McHale) asking me why I never got my teeth fixed.

Dino Stamatopoulos (Konstantinos Stamatopoulos, Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Σταματόπουλος) is an American comedy writer, producer and actor. For three seasons on Community he worked both onscreen playing the role of "Star-Burns" and behind the scenes writing and contributing to various episodes, and acting as a consulting producer on the show. One of the Community episodes he co-wrote was the Season Two Christmas special "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas" whose stop motion animation was provided by his company "Starburns Industries" . Despite his onscreen character's popularity with the fans, Dino often expressed his dislike at being an actor in various interviews. Star-Burns was supposedly killed off in the Season Three epsiode "Basic Lupine Urology" and after the show was renewed it was announced that the creator Dan Harmon would not be returning as the showrunner. Although at that point he was done as an onscreen actor, Stamatopoulos officially quit his offscreen duties as well in solidarity with his friends firing. Dino would later tweet this message on his twitter account:

F*** Sony. I know that they don't care about me, and I don't love acting, but I'd have done the part again ONLY if my friend wanted me to.

In 2013 when Dan Harmon returned to the show in Season Five, Dino was asked to reprise the Star-Burns character (who was revealed to have faked his death) as well as consult on a few episodes. He is currently working with both Dan Harmon and Charlie Kaufman on the Kickstarter funded project "Anomalisa" to be produced by his animation company Starburns Industries.
