After being expelled along with the rest of the study group, Abed is caught trespassing on the Greendale campus two months later. "Dean Pelton" insists that he see a psychiatrist and provides the services of Dr. Heidi; otherwise, he'll press charges. Although the study group accompanies Abed primarily for moral support, the session with Dr. Heidi ends up exposing a few truths about themselves and their current situation that they weren't prepared for. Dr. Heidi's first appearance was in the Season Three episode "Curriculum Unavailable". He is portrayed by actor/comedian John Hodgeman.
