Charley Koontz is an American actor and comedian. Born and raised in Concord, California, Charley Koontz graduated from De La Salle High School in 2005. He attended Loyola Marymount University where Koontz first studied film production until switching his major to theater. In 2009 he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts. The following year in 2010, he appeared in his first film "Rubber" as "Movie Buff Charley". directed by Quentin Dupieux (he would later work again with Dupieux in the 2011 film "Wrong"). In 2011 he was cast in Season Two of "Community" as a character previously mentioned but not seen called "Fat Neil". The part eventually became a recurring role and he has been featured regularly in Seasons Three and Four.
