"Yahoo! Screen" was an online video hosting website owned and operated by Yahoo Inc. It was launched on February of 2008 and was the successor to Yahoo's video sharing YouTube analogue "Yahoo! Video". The content included full shows, movies, webisodes and other new media. In 2014, Yahoo got the rights to produce and stream Season Six of Community. The show debuted on March 17, 2015 as the cornerstone of Yahoo's initiative to create original programming. However, the site failed to generate the ad revenue Yahoo had hoped for, and Yahoo! Screen was shut down a on January 2016.
