In the study group's third year at Greendale, Britta settled into her current life of academia after declaring her major in Psychology. However, she finds herself missing her previous political activist lifestyle after finding out an old friend of hers was recently imprisoned for protesting. She decides to stage various protests at school herself with little success. She does manage to make Ben Chang happy as he had just been hired as a campus security guard and was eager to have someone to exert his authority over. He finally brings an end to Britta's shenanigans by tasering her when she protests the Model UN contest. Whenever he confronts Britta's latest protest, Lionel Richie's 1984 hit single "Hello" is played.
