Maggie Bandur is an American television writer and producer. She was born on February 8, 1974 in Los Angeles California and went to El Camino Real High School. At the time Bandur competed in the United States Academic Decathlon for ECR's team which finished fourth. A few years later while attending Northwestern University she represented the college in the 1994 Jeopardy! College Championship. Eventually she became a comedy television writer noted for work for various series for Fox, ABC, CBS, and the CW. She branched out and took a job in England working for BBC3. When she returned to America she wrote for "My Boys" and short comedy plays until being hired on NBC's "Community". She was on the show from 2011 to 2013 serving as a producer and also writing a number of episodes. Bandur moved on this other projects including the "The Michael J. Fox Show".
