I have a friend that is going through a very rough time. I've known him for years and nothing takes his mind off his problems like watching and talking about the show.
He once asked me what made Community so special. Amongst the obvious (great writing, acting, creativeness, etc. etc.) what struck me is that everyone can see themselves at Greendale and being accepted.
